I'm looking to buy an AMD R7 9800X3D CPU along with a GIGABYTE X870 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE motherboard and 32GB of CORSAIR RGB D5 6000MHz RAM. I'm a bit behind on the latest tech, especially regarding motherboards and RAM. Is this setup worth $1100 CAD?

Canada Computer bundles can be a good way to go, but this one is just okay. You might not even need the 9800X3D or that X870 board. The 7800X3D deals for $800-$900 right now offer similar performance. What’s your main goal with this PC?

This is a solid deal if you really need that X870 board. If not, you could save around $125-150 CAD by going for a decent B650 or B850 board instead. Think about what features you really need!

At $1100 CAD, you're looking at a price that converts to about $802.11 USD. It’s a good deal, especially since the CPU alone typically costs around $500 USD.

It's definitely a good deal as long as the RAM’s CL timings are reasonable. Just make sure they're not awful!

I bought the same setup months ago and haven’t had a single issue. The motherboard is pricy but complements the CPU very well. Even though the RAM might be a bit slow, it's perfectly fine for gaming.

It's an alright deal, but the premium motherboard isn't necessary. You can get similar performance from a cheaper X870 model, which could bring your total cost down to around $1000 CAD. Check out this build I found: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/hQPsnp
