Hey everyone, I'm totally new to gaming and trying to figure out what FPS is normal for my setup. I'm running a 7800x3d with a 9070xt and 64GB of RAM. While playing Black Ops 6, I usually see about 150 FPS during intense scenes, but it drops to around 120 sometimes and then goes back up. Is this acceptable for my configuration? I did some research and found a wide range of expected FPS values from 60 to 350, so I'm a bit lost and would appreciate any advice.

It really depends on the settings you're using. If you have stuff like draw distances set way out, it can affect performance.
If you're hitting 150 FPS and dropping to 120, you might be running at 1440p with extreme settings. Some people get over 200 at lower settings, but your setup seems solid!
That FPS sounds about right, especially if you're playing on max settings or something close to it. So no worries!
