I'm building a mid-range PC with an Intel Arc B580 graphics card and a Ryzen 7600X CPU (the 7600F is sold out everywhere in Canada). I'm debating if I should go for 16GB of DDR5 RAM or bump it up to 32GB. Is the extra RAM worth the investment for my build?

I just watched a great video that tackles this exact question! It goes into detail about RAM requirements based on usage and gaming. Here's the link if you're interested: https://youtu.be/_nMu1KFkOC4
Just finished it, and it answered a lot of my questions too!
Honestly, it really depends on what you plan to do with your PC. If you’re gaming, some recent titles struggle with only 16GB. For general use or light gaming, it might be okay. But I recommend at least considering 32GB if you want a smoother experience overall.
What games do you mean that struggle with 16GB?
Games like Battlefield have had issues on 16GB, trust me!
I think you should definitely go for 32GB. While 16GB can work, especially with older DDR4, DDR5 demands more for bandwidth. You'll see much better performance with 32GB, especially when gaming or multitasking. AAA titles are going to need that extra memory soon enough!
Totally agree! I just added 32GB to my setup, and the difference was huge.
Exactly, future games are just going to demand more memory. Better to have it and not need it!

Thanks for sharing! That video was super informative.
