Upgrading My GPU: Do I Need a New CPU or PSU Too?

Hey everyone! I'm considering an upgrade from my RTX 2060 to a 5070 Ti and I'm curious if I should also get a new CPU and PSU to prevent any potential bottlenecks or issues. Right now, I'm using an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X and a Corsair RM650 80+ Gold PSU (650W). My main goal is to achieve 1080p at 60fps with max settings in the most demanding games. If you'd suggest any replacements, that would be super helpful. Thanks for your input!

You definitely don't need a 5070 Ti for 1080p at 60fps. If you do go for it, pairing it with the 3600X isn't ideal. I'd suggest looking for a 5600 or 5700X3D if you can find one used; you'll want a CPU that can keep up with such a powerful GPU to truly maximize its potential. The 5070 Ti is pretty overkill for most games anyway, so check benchmarks for what you'll actually be playing!

For 1080p ultra at 60fps, consider the 5060 Ti 16GB or the 9060 XT 16GB. They should handle everything you need without breaking the bank.

Thanks for the feedback! I also worry about future games like GTA 6 being very demanding. Do you think a 650W PSU is enough for those upgrades?
