Is 21 Too Late to Start Learning Code?

I'm 21 and thinking about my future career. I've heard it's important to learn to code, but I'm feeling intimidated because it seems like everyone else started coding at a really young age, like 12. I don't know where to begin! What are the key differences between Python and JavaScript? Which one should I start learning first? Also, I've always struggled with math. Do I really need to be good at it to code? Lastly, is coding as lucrative as people claim or is that just hype? Any encouragement or advice would be greatly appreciated!

At 21, you're right on time! Just remember, it’s all about your mindset. Learning to code can be frustrating at times, but it's also super rewarding. Don’t focus on being the best; have fun with it and your skills will grow!

It's never too late! Many successful coders started later in life. Don't get intimidated by those who claim they've been coding since childhood; they're often just exaggerating. I started when I was 37 and it’s totally doable!

You're definitely not too late to start coding. Both Python and JavaScript are great choices for beginners. The best language to choose often depends on what you want to achieve with coding. As for math, it's more about logical thinking rather than being a math whiz. Just practice a lot, and you'll get better!

Not at all! I changed my career from being in the hotel industry to a software developer at 22. If you stick with it, there are plenty of opportunities in tech for you!

Don't worry, 21 is a great age to start! You're in your prime and can definitely learn to code. Plenty of people switch careers or pick up new skills later in life. So, dive in!

I started coding at 47 and now work at a fantastic IT company! Age doesn’t matter when it comes to learning. If you're passionate and willing to invest time, you can achieve your goals. Just go for it!
