I'm considering a case with a max of 4 exhaust and 5 intake fans for my upcoming build that includes a Ryzen 9 9950X3D, NVIDIA 5070 Ti, and an NVMe Gen 5 SSD. I want to know if that fan setup is suitable or if I should look for a case that accommodates more fans.

Lol, I'm running 1 intake and 1 exhaust and it's more than enough. The airflow pattern matters way more than having tons of fans. You might want at least 2 intakes for optimal airflow, but you really don’t need a fan overload.
Honestly, 2 intakes and 1 exhaust fan are enough for most setups. The key is how you arrange them and the type of case you’re using. Also, that Gen 5 SSD might need a heatsink or good airflow if you're pushing it hard, especially with a powerful CPU like the 9950X3D.
You'll be fine with fewer fans! Seriously, I've run my rig with just 1 fan, and it performed just as well as having multiple. Sometimes more fans just create unnecessary turbulence.
I've got 2x 140mm intakes and 1x 120mm exhaust, and my system stays really cool. Unless you're planning on using a radiator, there's really no need for a setup with more than 3 fans.
