Is 4600 MHz Idle Clock Speed Normal for R5 7500F?

Hey everyone! I have a Ryzen 5 7500F CPU that's running at around 49 to 53 degrees Celsius when idle or under light load. During gaming sessions, the temps go up to about 60 to 65 degrees, with occasional spikes into the 70s. I've also undervolted it to PBO -30 with a ceiling of 85 degrees. My main concern is the clock speed; it idles at 4600 MHz, which seems a bit high. Is this typical for the 7500F? I've never used a 7000 series before, so I'm just trying to get a handle on what's normal. For context, my room temperature ranges from 28-30 degrees at night and 30-32 during the day. Everything's brand new, and I've turned on EXPO/XMP, which raises my CPU's temperature by about 3-5 degrees. My Cinebench scores are around 70-75, peaking at 75-80 on hotter days. Here's my setup: ASRock Steel Legend B650, ASUS Dual RTX 5060Ti 16GB, NZXT Kraken Elite 360mm V2, and 2 x Kingston Fury Beast 16GB 5600 MHz RAM.

Yeah, that’s normal for Ryzen CPUs. Your idle temps are great, and the load temps are well within the safe zone. You definitely have nothing to stress about here!

Awesome, glad to hear it!

That idle speed is totally fine! Ryzen CPUs often operate at higher clock speeds even when not under heavy load. Your temperatures look good for both idle and load too, so it seems like everything's working well. No worries!

Thanks for the reassurance!

What CPU usage do you see when your clock is at 4.6 GHz?

I only have a 7% CPU load when that happens.
