I'm considering upgrading my gaming setup and I'm pondering whether to go for 64 GB of RAM. I found a good deal on a 32 GB DDR4 3600 MHz kit that would cost about $200. My motherboard supports only two slots, so I could buy two of these kits. With RAM prices rising, there's a chance I could resell the second kit later. However, I'm not convinced I need that much RAM, especially since I'm mostly gaming. What do you think?

If your main use is gaming, 32 GB is more than enough for now. You really don’t need to spend extra on 64 GB unless you have specific needs like video editing or running heavy applications. Just stick to 32 GB for a solid gaming experience.
Honestly, 32 GB should last you a long while, even for future games. Don’t rush into a purchase just because RAM prices are fluctuating. It’s better to wait and see if prices drop.
$200 for a single 32 GB module seems steep to me. You might want to hold off or look for better deals, especially with how prices can vary. Right now, selling DDR4 might be better than buying.
Going with a single-channel RAM setup isn't ideal, especially for Ryzen. If you can, opt for a 2x16 GB kit to maximize performance. While single-channel might not be a huge drop-off, dual-channel will definitely give you better overall gaming performance.
64 GB can feel like a luxury for gamers. I personally find that my RAM usage can peak at around 28 GB with multiple applications and games open. Sure, I could manage with 32 GB, but if you’re looking for faster load times and smoother multitasking, 64 GB could be a nice touch.
