Is $650 a Fair Deal for a Used RTX 4070 TI Super?

I'm considering buying a used RTX 4070 TI Super for $650, but I'm unsure if that's a good price. Should I take this deal, or would it be wiser to spend a bit less on a brand new 5070 (not the TI version)? I want to make the most out of my 4K monitor, even though I can't afford a top-tier 4K card right now. I'll primarily be relying on DLSS upscaling for my gaming needs.

It's crazy to think $650 is even being discussed for GPUs. Five years ago, that amount bought a high-end card, but now it feels like we're settling. Still, it's all about what high-end means today—we can't compare with older models anymore, as tech prices have shifted dramatically.

True, but the demand keeps prices high. It feels like a gamble unless you're going for the latest models.

Right? I remember back when the Titan cards were a grand. Times have definitely changed!

Solid card for that price, especially for 4K gaming! Just make sure it fits your needs. If you're okay with potentially not having a warranty, the used option might be your best bet. Plus, the 16GB VRAM is a nice bonus for future-proofing your gaming rig!

Yeah, $650 is pretty good for a used card. Just be cautious about where you're buying it from, like locally or online. Prices can seem fishy sometimes, especially on platforms like eBay where they're listed above $900.

I found one earlier on eBay for $575, but it wasn't the Super version. It's always worth keeping an eye out!

Honestly, that's a solid price! I bought my 4070 Ti Super for about $900 after taxes, and it's still running perfectly. If you can get it for $650, you're making a smart purchase. Just make sure it hasn't been overused or mined on, though.

Yeah man, I’ve had mine for over a year too and it's doing great—definitely worth considering!

I remember paying that for mine a while ago too! Prices have definitely changed.

Great price, especially since I've seen used 4070 Ti Supers going for around $800 and higher! This card does a fantastic job at 4K with DLSS, but keep in mind you'll need to make compromises unless you're going for something like a 4090. If you can grab it now, don't hesitate!
