Is 7200MHz CL34 DDR5 Memory Worth It for My AM5 Setup?

I'm currently building an AM5 setup and considering the Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5 memory that operates at 7200MHz with a CAS latency of 34 (32GB, 2x16GB). I want to know if this RAM is a good match for my 9800X3D processor and high-end X670E motherboard. I keep hearing that 6000MHz CL30 RAM is the way to go for AM5, but since the 7200MHz model is a bit cheaper than the 6000MHz CL30, I'm curious if I should go for it. What do you all think? Thanks!

AMD has been pushing for 6000MHz CL30 as the sweet spot for their setups. It's what they recommend and use in their review kits. Anything faster might lead to stability issues with your CPU and motherboard. Plus, performance improvements are generally small—like 1-2% in certain scenarios.

You might want to hold off on the 7200MHz RAM unless you're comfortable with manual tuning. It could hurt your performance, and in some cases, it might not even boot up properly. Just a heads up!
