Is 90°C Normal for My GPU During Gameplay?

Hey everyone, I've got a gaming setup with a Ryzen 7 5700X, an RTX 3060 with 12GB, and 16GB of RAM. While playing games, my GPU usage hits 100%, and I've noticed it reaching temperatures up to 90°C. I'm wondering if this is normal. My cooling setup consists of one rear fan, two side fans, and one bottom fan. I also replaced the thermal paste (using the same thermal pads) but the problem persists. Is there anything else I can do to lower the temperature? Just to add, I game at QHD resolution.

Yeah, hitting 90° isn't ideal. If you reused your old thermal pads while replacing the thermal paste, that could be the main issue. Those pads can lose efficiency over time. Consider replacing them with new ones, along with checking your airflow setup. You might also want to explore getting a more powerful cooler if you keep running into these temps.

Wow, 90°C is pretty high! You might want to check a few things. First, when you applied the thermal paste, did you clean the CPU and cooler surfaces thoroughly with alcohol? Old paste can really mess things up. Also, make sure your cooler is securely mounted. Lastly, double-check that all your fans are working and are installed with the airflow direction in mind. The side with the labels should face inside the case for optimal airflow!
