Is a 128GB SSD Sufficient for Linux OS?

I'm considering switching from Windows to Linux Mint and have an old SATA SSD that I previously used for my system drive. I want to know if a 128GB SSD will be enough for the OS. I understand that the root partition is similar to the C drive in Windows, while the home partition is for personal files. Additionally, I'm planning to complement my system with a 1TB SSD and a 1TB HDD to store games, audiobooks, movies, and more. Also, will the installation process automatically use the entire SSD, or will I need to configure it manually?

That's more than enough! I've installed Linux Mint on drives smaller than that without any issues.

Will the installation use the whole drive by default, or do I need to adjust settings?

Yep, it's sufficient for your needs. You'll have plenty of room left over for applications as well.

Absolutely! A 128GB SSD should be more than enough for most Linux distributions. Many recommend just 10-20GB for the OS, so you're looking good.
