Is a 1440p Monitor Worth It for My New PC Build?

I'm building my first PC and am considering whether I should go for a 1440p monitor or stick with a 1080p one. I have an R5 7600X and an XFX RX 6750XT. The 1440p monitor I'd buy from Amazon, but I can find 1080p monitors at various electronics stores in Italy. What do you think I should do?

Honestly, think about what you really want. If you're dying to see what 1440p looks like, go for it! The clarity is huge once you adjust, and it can be tough to go back to 1080p after trying it.

That’s true! I might just take the plunge into 1440p.

I jumped from 1080p to 1440p recently, and I can’t go back. Even if I play competitive games, the visuals are so much better. Plus, it’s more future-proof for any GPU upgrades you might make down the line.

Thanks, I’ll definitely choose 1440p!

Definitely go for the 1440p! With your 6750XT, you'll be getting around 100 fps on most games, and it’s the sweet spot for gaming right now. It just looks so much better!

Great, thanks!

If you’re into casual gaming, 1440p is the way to go. It’s a whole different experience and worth spending the money, especially since you already have a solid GPU.

Thanks for your opinion, I’ll get the 1440p!
