I'm in the process of building a new PC and I received a Corsair HX115i 240mm AIO cooler in a bundle deal. I'm unsure if it will effectively cool my CPU, which is a Ryzen 7 7800X3D. To complement my setup, I'm using a Corsair 3500X ARGB case equipped with six 120mm fans. Additionally, I plan to upgrade to a Ryzen 9 9800X3D or a higher model in the future.

Yes, that setup works well! I have a similar cooler, and I keep my AIO fans running at low RPMs to maintain a really quiet environment while still getting great cooling performance.
Honestly, that cooler is probably overkill for your CPU. The 7800X3D doesn't really run hot, so you should be just fine.
I’m using a $25 low-profile thermal cooler, and it works just fine with that CPU. You have plenty of cooling options.
At full load, it only draws about 75 watts, so almost any cooler will work for it. Your AIO will have no trouble keeping it cool!
You could even use a basic $30 Thermalright cooler, and it would still handle the 7800X3D without any issues. It's not a power-hungry CPU at all!
If you're looking for something quieter, you might consider selling the AIO and going for an air cooler instead. That way, you'll have something more straightforward to manage.

Same here, even the budget coolers handle this chip well!
