How to Fix Being Stuck in GNU GRUB After Uninstalling Ubuntu?

I've found myself stuck in the GNU GRUB screen, and it shows some minimal bash-like text with the prompt grub>_. My keyboard isn't responding, and the RGB lights are off. This happened after I decided to switch back to Windows because some games weren't working on Ubuntu, and I forgot to uninstall GRUB properly. I'm worried about potentially losing my Windows files. What should I do?

I had a similar issue after uninstalling Ubuntu on my B450 motherboard. Just to confirm, are you getting any specific GRUB error? If not, it might just be a BIOS setting that needs adjusting.

No specific error messages, just the GRUB screen. I'll try checking the BIOS settings.

It sounds like you need to change the boot order in your BIOS. Make sure that Windows is set as the first boot option. That should help you get back into Windows without GRUB getting in the way.

Changing the boot order in BIOS or UEFI should resolve the issue. Make sure to save your settings before exiting. Let us know if that works for you!

If you can access the BIOS settings, look for a boot order section and prioritize Windows there. Also, if you have anything you want to save from Ubuntu, consider using a live USB to access the files before making any changes.
