Is a 3A Power Brick Safe for a 4A Monitor?

I recently had an issue with my 12V 4A monitor's power brick and ended up getting a 12V 3A power brick as a replacement from the company. They assured me that it should work fine, but I'm a bit skeptical. I know the voltage needs to be the same and that the amperage should be equal to or greater than required. I've tested the monitor, and it seems to work, but I'm worried about any long-term effects. Can I safely use this 3A brick without damaging my monitor?

Using a 3A brick on a 4A monitor might work for a while, but it could lead to issues down the line. If you're running the monitor at max brightness, it could draw more power and risk burning out the power brick sooner than expected. Keep an eye on it!

Is it the monitor that might burn out or the power brick? If it's just the brick that's at risk, then I'm not too worried. Thanks for your insights!
