I'm looking to upgrade my setup from a Ryzen 5 2600 paired with an ASUS ROG RX 580 to a Ryzen 5 5600 and a used Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6700 XT. However, I'm currently short on cash for a new PSU. Right now, I have an EVGA 500 BR 80 Bronze. Do you think I should upgrade my PSU first, or would it be okay to get the CPU now and worry about the PSU later? What are your thoughts?

You might barely scrape by with a 500W PSU for that combo, but I'd advise you to consider a 550W or 600W model for better stability. The RX 6700 XT can be power-hungry during peak usage, so a bit more headroom would definitely help.
