I'm considering buying an RTX 5060 Ti, but my motherboard is an Asus PRIME A520M-K which only supports PCIe 3.0. I've seen some discussions about potential performance issues with this interface. Will using the 5060 Ti on PCIe 3.0 create significant problems, or is it a safe purchase?

Using a PCIe 3.0 x8 interface will limit your transfer rates a bit, but for the 5060 Ti, it's probably not going to be a significant issue with its speed. The 16GB VRAM will make it perform a lot better, so you're on the right track by avoiding the 8GB variant.

Thanks for the clarification! I'm set on the 16GB now.

Just a heads up, the 16GB model could lead to about 10% lower FPS in some games on PCIe 3.0 due to the x8 interface. The 8GB model really takes a hit in performance, so make sure to stick with the 16GB one.

Switching to PCIe 3.0 may result in about a 2% drop in performance according to some reviews. Just make sure to go for the 16GB model. The 8GB version isn't worth it!

Oh thanks! I was worried it would impact performance more. I'll definitely get the 16GB.
