I'm planning to upgrade my PC with a 5070 graphics card and a Ryzen 5 7600X processor. I'm curious if a 600W power supply would be enough for this setup. Also, would a 600W supply handle a 5060 Ti along with the mentioned CPU?

I recommend going for 700W if you're using the 5070. Having more power is always better for stability and allows for future upgrades without worrying too much about hitting limits.

According to PC Part Picker, your build's estimated wattage is about 404W. I usually factor in an extra 250W for safety—just to protect the PSU and ensure longevity.

Yeah, it could work, but remember that the specific model of the PSU really matters. Some models handle load better than others.

You really shouldn't skimp on a power supply. It's the heart of your system! Ideally, keep your usage around 60% of its capacity. Brands like Seasonic and Super Flower are the way to go. Trust me, you'll thank yourself later!

I wouldn’t say other brands are trash, but I get where you're coming from.

A 600W power supply can technically work for your setup, but it's not ideal. I suggest considering a bit more wattage to give yourself some extra headroom, especially for future upgrades.
