Is a 650W Thermaltake Litepower PSU sufficient for an i7-12700F and RTX 3070?

I'm currently using a prebuilt PC with a Thermaltake Litepower 650W power supply and an Intel i7-12700F CPU. I'm considering upgrading my GPU to an RTX 3070 and wanted to know if this PSU is reliable enough for that setup. I've come across some opinions online suggesting that this power supply is quite poor and should be replaced—what's the consensus on that?

From what I've seen, the Thermaltake Litepower is rated pretty low on the PSU tier lists—around F tier. It's generally considered a poor choice, especially for high-end components like the RTX 3070. I’d recommend swapping it for a higher-tier PSU, ideally something in the C tier or better. You want to ensure stability and safety for your system, especially when pushing your GPU to its limits. Just my two cents!

That's good to know. Just to clarify though, if I've been using it without issues for two years, should I be worried? Isn’t it risky to replace it if it's still running fine?
