I'm planning to upgrade my graphics card from a 2070 Super to a new RX 9070 XT, and I'm a bit concerned about whether my current power supply will handle the upgrade. Here's my system configuration:
- CPU: i9-10900K (not overclocked)
- Motherboard: ROG Z490-A Gaming
- Graphics Card: RX 9070 XT (upgrading from 2070 Super)
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB (8x4GB, 3200MHz)
- HDD: WD Blue 7200 RPM
- SSDs: WD Black SN770 500GB and Corsair MP600 500GB
- Liquid Cooler: Aorus 240 RGB
- PSU: Corsair RM750x 80+ Gold
- Fans: 5 RGB fans and 2 non-RGB fans
Given this setup, will my 750W power supply be enough for the RX 9070 XT? Should I consider upgrading to a higher wattage PSU instead? I plan to undervolt the GPU once it's installed. Thanks!

You'll be just fine with a 750W PSU for the RX 9070 XT and i9-10900K combo. Plenty of users have run similar setups without issues. Just make sure your PSU is in good condition, and you should be all set!
It's totally fine! Honestly, there's no real need to undervolt unless you're looking for extra efficiency or cooling benefits. Your power supply can handle it!
That makes it easier! Thanks for clarifying.
Yes, 750W is sufficient for your setup. Even under full load, it should handle everything. Just keep an eye on your power draw, especially if you're considering any future upgrades.
Good to know! I appreciate the input!
Thanks for the reassurance!
