I'm upgrading from a 3060 to a 5070 Ti and currently have a 750W Plus Gold modular PSU, an AMD 7600 CPU, and a 7 fan setup (0.15 amp each). Do I need to upgrade my power supply for this change?

A good quality 750W power supply should be totally sufficient for your 5070 Ti. Most users report having no issues running similar setups with that wattage.

Are you sure it’s enough though?

I've been running my 5070 Ti on a 750W unit without any problems. Generally, brands suggest 750W for this setup, so I’d say you're good to go!

While a 1000W PSU is definitely overkill, keep in mind that the system will only draw what it needs. If you can find an 850W for a decent price, that could be a good middle ground for future-proofing without breaking the bank.

If you're worried about having enough power, I'd recommend looking into an 850W unit. It's a safe bet if you're adding lots of components later. But honestly, 750W should handle your current setup just fine as long as you're not planning on adding a ton of extra drives or RGB lighting.

I have a 87% efficiency rating on my PSU. Is that considered good quality?
