Hey folks! I'm about to upgrade my GPU and I'm considering the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 for my current build. I want to know if my 750W power supply will be adequate for this setup. Here are the details of my current setup: I'm using an Intel Core i9-10900F, a Gigabyte Z490 VISION G motherboard, 64GB of Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 RAM, a Corsair Hydro Series H100I Pro 240mm water cooler, a Corsair SSD MP600 XT 1TB, another 1TB Kingston KC3000 SSD, and a 2TB SATA HDD. I specifically need to know if my 750W 80 Plus Bronze Corsair PSU will handle the new GPU without issues, as my system is already up and running with all other components. Thanks!

Definitely yes! But make sure to use something like PCPartPicker to verify your wattage needs and check ventilation too.

Just did that, it estimated about 498W. How much extra capacity should I leave for the PSU to be safe?

Yep, a 750W PSU should be more than enough for that combo! You've got some good power headroom there.

Thanks! That's a relief!

You should have some breathing room for your PSU, around 20% more than the estimated wattage is usually good. That should keep everything running smoothly!
