Is a Budget GPU Enough for My Gaming Needs?

I recently sold my RTX 3070 and was considering the AMD 9070 for my gaming setup. However, I'm starting to have doubts. I mainly play fighting games like Granblue, Strive, VF5 REVO, and Under Night in Birth, along with strategy games such as Age of Empires 2 and 4, SC2, Dawn Of War DE, and I'm looking forward to Dawn of War 4 and Total War: Warhammer 40k. I also play CS2 and Dota 2 on the side. I have a 240Hz 1080p monitor, and I'm beginning to think that maybe the 9070 is overkill. Is there a more budget-friendly option that would give me a decent upgrade without costing a fortune? My setup includes an i9 9900k CPU and 32GB of RAM, and I'm running Pop!_OS.

What do you define as 'breaking the bank'? If you think the 9070 is too much, the 9060 XT could be a solid choice. It's still a noticeable upgrade, and if you're sticking to 1080p, you might even save some bucks with the 8GB model.

I wouldn't go for the 8GB version; some games already exceed that at 1080p. Honestly, keeping the 3070 might have been a better choice.
