Hey everyone! I'm on my journey to become a DevOps Engineer and I've been using my homelab as a hands-on learning tool for about a month now. I've set it up to explore various DevOps technologies and practices. I even have a project repository where I've documented my progress. So far, I've managed to configure Ansible for managing my Proxmox cluster, utilize ZeroTier for networking, automate documentation with Forgejo and GitHub Actions, dabble in Terraform, and I'm currently working on implementing Authentik SSO for a couple of services my friends and I use.
As I'm preparing to hunt for jobs, I have a couple of questions:
- Would any of you suggest changes to my current roadmap?
- Are there any essential DevOps skills that you think I should prioritize, especially since many job postings I've seen focus heavily on Azure?
