Is a Lower Wattage Graphics Card Less Efficient?

I recently purchased an ASUS 9060XT, but a friend mentioned that it has a lower wattage limit of 192W compared to other 9060XT models that can handle 200W. Is this true? Does having a lower wattage limit mean it's worse, and if so, how does it affect performance?

The wattage can vary between graphics cards, especially if they have different designs. Lower wattage limits might suggest less room for overclocking, but in practical terms, you won't see much difference in performance unless you're pushing the card to its limits. It's often a marketing tactic for manufacturers to offer various models. You should be just fine with your card!

Exactly! Just to add, if you've checked out some benchmarks for generic 9060XTs, those results usually reflect the minimum performance. Even if your model is slightly lower in wattage, actual real-world performance should be similar, so enjoy your new GPU!
