Is a Mac Necessary for Publishing My App?

I'm working on an app that I developed using React Native and tested on my iPhone with Expo. I'm ready to buy an Apple developer account for $99, but I don't own a Mac. I've been trying to figure out if I can submit my app without one, but the advice I've received is all over the place. I even contacted Apple support, but the representative didn't have a clear answer and mentioned that there isn't a dedicated support line for Apple Developers. I could really use some guidance on this!

Yes, you'll definitely need a Mac for publishing your app. There are some workarounds, but they can be tricky and not suitable for beginners. Apple doesn’t support these methods, and honestly, they’re fraught with issues. It’s best to get a Mac for this task.

Do I really need the Mac just for publishing via Xcode? Would it be totally wild for me to borrow a library Mac just to do the submission, especially if I use EAS?
