I just bought a Kioxia Exceria G2 SSD and while I'm satisfied with its speed, I'm concerned because I've noticed a rattling noise coming from it. A friend mentioned this type of SSD shouldn't really make any sounds like that. I recorded a short video to demonstrate the noise, although it's not as loud in person. The SSD is brand new, only a week old and has never been dropped. I'm curious if this is a typical sound for this model and if there's any chance it might lead to issues down the line.

Totally normal! I’ve heard similar things from others who have bought the same drive. They’re not considered high-end builds, so noises like rattling aren’t unusual.
I get what you’re saying. I hear some noise from mine too, and I think it’s just how these cheaper models are built. If you shake it and it doesn’t disconnect, that’s a good sign! You might find this is pretty common with Kioxia G2s.
It sounds like you're overreacting a bit! A lot of budget SSDs, like your Kioxia, can have some rattling due to the materials they're made from. As long as it’s functioning fine and not losing connection when you tap it, you're probably good. Just keep an eye on it for any weird behaviors, but in most cases, it shouldn't be a future problem.
