Is a UPS Worth It for My Frequent Power Outages?

I'm facing frequent power outages in my apartment, particularly affecting the outlets for my modem, router, a couple of monitors, and a wireless charger. These outages last anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes and can happen 1-2 times daily, or up to 4-5 times on worse days. My lights go out too, but they're irrelevant for my needs with a UPS. I'm considering whether getting a UPS would be a smart move to prevent issues like corrupted files from these outages. I've heard that constant outages can shorten a UPS's lifespan, but since my PC isn't impacted, does that make a difference in terms of the UPS handling the load? Also, any recommendations on reliable UPS models would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Check out brands like APC or EATON 1500; they’re priced reasonably. Make sure to keep your setup minimal on the UPS side—ideally just your PC, one monitor, and your router. You’ll want to be able to shut down your PC safely or last through the power cut. Don’t forget to look into battery replacement costs down the line! Also, it's curious that your PC stays on—does it mean some circuits in your apartment stay powered during outages?

Only certain circuits seem to lose power, like some outlets, while others like the kitchen lights and my fridge stay on. Why should I avoid plugging two monitors into the UPS? Wouldn't they be fine on it since they don’t draw too much power?
