I've just picked up a 9070XT, but I'm starting to feel like my 5600G is causing some micro stuttering. With the 5700X3D and 5800X3D no longer being produced, I've found a store selling a second-hand 5800X3D for €250. Do you all think that's a good deal, or should I look for alternatives?

Honestly, I don't think the 5800X3D is worth it at that price. Instead of upgrading to that CPU, consider selling your current setup (5600G, motherboard, and RAM) to fund an upgrade to AM5. You could get a B650 motherboard, a 7600X, and DDR5 RAM for around the same or even less money. The value is just better with AM5, and you'll notice a nice performance boost with modern titles.
Thanks for the advice! I'm in a similar situation and I think I’ll go for AM5 too. Do you recommend the 7600 or the 7600X for gaming?
The 5600G is really holding you back. Even switching to a regular 5600 or 5700 might fix those stutters. The 5800X3D is good, but there are better options out there if you sell your existing parts and move to AM5.
No way, man. Selling your AM4 setup for AM5 is the better route. I did the same, grabbed a 5700X3D for cheap, but now I see the AM5 platform as the future and those options give a better experience.
No, I wouldn't invest in the 5800X3D at that price. It's an outdated platform now. I’ve seen 14th gen CPUs that are much cheaper and just as good, especially if you can find a deal on a DDR4 motherboard if you have RAM already.
I’d say yes and no. If you’re stuck in your budget and can’t move to AM5 just yet, the 5800X3D could be a temporary solution due to its 3D cache, especially if you're gaming. But if you can swing it, moving to AM5 makes more sense in the long run.

What about B850? Is it worth the extra compared to B650?
