Hey everyone! I'm currently using an 850W power supply and I'm considering upgrading to a 5080 Super. I also have a 9800X3D CPU, 1 NVMe SSD, 2 HDDs, and a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth PCIe card. Should I stick with my current 850W PSU or look for a 1000W unit? What do you think?

It really depends on the other components in your system. The 5080 Super is expected to have a TDP of around 415W, so your 850W PSU should cover it if your CPU draws less than 200W. Just keep an eye on your overall watts and try it out!

Got it! I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks!

You should be good! High-quality PSUs often run efficiently even at 750W with high-end cards like the 4090. If your PSU is decent, you likely won’t face any issues.

An 850W PSU should be fine for your setup. Most people say that as long as you're not significantly overclocking your CPU or GPU, it will handle the load well.
