Is an OLED Monitor Worth It for Heavy Daily Use?

I'm looking to upgrade my monitor setup soon due to potential tariffs affecting prices. I really want an OLED monitor because I highly value contrast and pixel response, especially as a colorblind FPS gamer. However, since I work from home and do a lot of general browsing—averaging around 14 hours of use a day—I'm concerned about burn-in from static content. Is an OLED monitor a bad choice for my situation? If it is, should I opt for a mini-LED instead and plan to replace the OLED in about 5 years? I've had bad experiences with VA panels, so I'm leaning towards IPS. Any insights would be appreciated!

I used an OLED for around 6 hours daily with the same program up on the screen, and I definitely experienced some burn-in. While the gaming performance was fantastic, it forced me to set up a separate workstation. I think I'd go for a mini-LED next time for convenience and less risk of burn-in. My mini-LED TV is really impressive, and it balances the gaming experience well.

I’ve been considering the separate workstation route too for better balance, but space is tight!
