Hey everyone! I found an Inno3D RTX 3080 12GB for less than €400, and I'm tempted to grab it. Right now, I have an i5 8600 with an RTX 3060 Ti. I'm looking to upgrade my setup to be more future-proof, with plans for AMD's AM5 platform, specifically the 9800X3D and 32GB of RAM. My question is: should I wait for newer GPU releases or is this RTX 3080 too good to pass up? Just to clarify, apart from the GPU, I won't be upgrading anything else in my system for the next 5 years or so. I'm aware the 9800X3D might be overkill, but I want to make a solid choice here.

I'd be cautious about the RTX 3080; it might bottleneck with the 9800X3D processor. If you're looking for a balanced system, it might be worth holding out for upcoming super cards that offer better performance.
I get that, but at this price, is it realistic to expect a better value? I’m aiming for stable high-res 60fps, so I know the GPU will be crucial.
