Hey everyone! I just updated my ChatGPT mobile app and noticed the new memory feature that remembers our past chats. At first, I thought it was really cool and it seemed to work well. However, I noticed that during a later conversation, it completely lost track of the current context and started bringing up random topics from chats from months ago. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

For sure, it's really unsettling especially when it’s your therapy sessions! I hope they can improve this functionality soon.

I'm also facing similar issues. I asked it something simple, and then it brought up jellyfish based on an earlier discussion! It's frustrating, especially since we expect it to understand the current context better.
Oh man, I'm dealing with the same thing! I tried chatting about a new vocalization my chicken was making, and it totally misunderstood and started giving me advice on how to treat a sick chicken! It was so off-topic and confusing, I hope they fix this soon!
