Hey everyone! I'm relatively new to using Linux, and I'm trying to decide whether to choose Fedora or Aurora as my first distribution. I know Aurora is based on Fedora, but I'm curious if it's really beginner-friendly or if I should just stick with Fedora. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

When you're starting out with Linux, it's generally best to stick with the more popular distros like Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, Arch, or Gentoo. These tend to have larger communities and better support for beginners. Unless you have a specific need for Aurora, I’d recommend going with Fedora instead. It's straightforward and user-friendly, especially for fresh users.

Aurora is basically just Fedora with some cloud features and an immutable file system. So if you're looking for the classic Fedora experience, you might be better off just using Fedora itself!
