Is building a PC without a dedicated GPU a smart move?

I'm planning to build a PC soon primarily for playing games like osu, Minecraft, and League of Legends. I'm wondering if it's a good idea to go without a dedicated GPU, and if so, what components would you recommend for a budget of around $500?

Yes, going for a CPU with an integrated GPU, often called an APU, is a solid idea for your needs. Look for AMD processors that have a 'G' at the end of their model number. For instance, the Ryzen 5600G is a great choice as it offers decent performance without breaking the bank, plus it uses DDR4 memory, which is much easier on your wallet compared to DDR5.

If you're mostly playing lighter games, you might want to check out a used PC or a good prebuilt deal. Sometimes you can find decent specs for a great price without the hassle of building one from scratch.
