Is Buying a $500 RTX 3090 on eBay a Smart Move?

Hey everyone! I stumbled upon an RTX 3090 listed for $500 on eBay, coming from Australia. The seller mentions a one-year warranty, quick shipping, full buyer protection, and no-cost return shipping. It seems popular, with 5 already sold and 3 more available, plus a ton of watchers. They even sold 2 today and have a 30-day return policy. However, there are some things making me cautious. The seller's account is brand new, created this month, and has zero reviews. They've only sold 9 items total, which makes the low price for a 3090 seem suspicious. Plus, it's a ZOTAC card listed as new, but the images have no background and show shadows. Should I go for it or is there a chance it's a scam? I've been hunting for a 3090 for ages, but with this price point, I'm worried about what could go wrong or what scams might be involved. Any insights? Thanks!

Honestly, I’d be super cautious about this. A brand new RTX 3090 for $500 sounds like a scam waiting to happen. GPUs like that, especially with 24GB of VRAM, usually go for much higher. There's a strong possibility that the seller could be misrepresenting the card or might not even ship it at all.

Right? If it’s too good to be true, it probably is! Just imagine the hassle if it turns out to be a scam. Make sure to do your research and check if this seller has had other complaints.
