Is Creating an Astronomy Website a Good Idea for My Fullstack Project?

I'm an IT graduate with solid knowledge in tech and I'm looking for advice on building a fullstack project for my CV. I'm considering creating a website focused on astronomy or a space news platform that includes news articles and integrates APIs. I'm planning to use Angular for the frontend and FastAPI for the backend. Is this a good choice? What kind of features should I include on the site? Any recommendations for what an astronomy-themed website should contain?

You might want to check out NASA's APIs—they have a lot of useful data that could make your site really interesting. Combining space-related news with some scientific data could definitely enhance your project!

Just a heads-up: if you’re building something to showcase your skills, make sure it highlights all your best work. You want to impress potential employers! I get that you’re also creating a site for your city’s astronomical society, but it's good to find a balance that lets you demonstrate your full potential.

Are you thinking of making an informational site? If so, you might consider going with a static website using GitHub Pages or Netlify. Alternatively, if you want it to be fullstack, you could add features like calculating the speed of planets or their temperatures for a more interactive experience.
