I'm trying to wrap my head around DLSS and whether it's worth it compared to AMD's offerings. If I had to choose between the 9060 XT and the 5060 Ti, which one should I go for?

For me, as a casual gamer using AMD, I’m usually not bothered by quality differences. Even with AMD's lower-end upscaling, I hardly notice any issues unless I really focus on it. If you're just playing casually, you might not see a significant difference between the technologies.

Both DLSS and FSR create extra frames to improve performance. The 9060 XT with 16GB is comparable to the 5060 Ti, but if CUDA support matters to you, or the prices are similar, I'd go for the NVIDIA card since the AMD option should generally be cheaper.

It really boils down to your budget. If you're looking at a $150 difference, DLSS might not justify the price. However, if the price gap is $100 or less, it could be worth considering.

Honestly, DLSS isn't that much better than FSR. The 9060 XT delivers solid raw performance and often comes at a lower cost. If you're focused on value, the AMD option might be the smarter choice.

DLSS definitely has its advantages over AMD's FSR, but the difference isn't always as drastic as some might suggest. If you find the AMD card offers better performance for the price, I'd lean towards that. Also, check how much VRAM each model has, as it plays a big role in performance.
