Is Fedora KDE a Good Choice for Cybersecurity and Gaming?

I'm considering switching to Linux and want to find a single distribution that can effectively support both my interests in cybersecurity (like learning pentesting with tools such as Metasploit, Wireshark, and Burp Suite) and gaming (using Steam, Proton, and NVIDIA GPU). Is Fedora with KDE a suitable option for managing both these workflows? I'm okay with manual installations, but I'm looking for a stable environment that doesn't frequently run into issues. Are there better alternatives to Fedora KDE?

Absolutely, Fedora KDE is a solid choice! Just a heads up, you might want to avoid using distros like Kali or Black Arch for daily tasks since they’re better suited for VMs or bootable USB drives. It’s all about balance!

Would it be better to dual boot Fedora with Windows, or should I just run Fedora or Kali in a VM instead?
