Is Four Days Enough to Learn JavaScript and Two Weeks for Node.js?

Hey everyone! I recently applied to a company and got an associate position, with a goal to move into a Salesforce role. Things haven't gone as planned, though—I've experienced a bit of a bait-and-switch. The training schedule includes just 4 days for JavaScript essentials and a further 2 weeks to cover Node.js, MongoDB, and Postman. I have some basic JavaScript knowledge from about 10 years ago, but I'm new to Node.js. Is this timeline too fast for someone in my situation? Should I be worried?

It sounds like you'll be in for a challenge, but don't get discouraged! If you've taught yourself before, think back on how long it took you to learn programming. Just remember to pace yourself, and keep pushing through the tough parts. You can definitely do this! Good luck with the position!

How familiar are you with JavaScript and other programming languages? Since you have some background with HTML5 and CSS3, that’s a good start! Node.js might seem a bit tricky at first, but it's easier to learn once you grasp JavaScript basics. Just give it your best shot, and don’t hesitate to ask for help when needed!

I've got a little knowledge of JS fundamentals but haven't used it for a long time, so I’m a bit rusty.
