Is High CPU and Memory Usage While Gaming Normal?

I've noticed that my CPU usage is at 60% and my memory is at 78% while I'm using Chrome with 10 to 15 tabs open and also have Valorant running. Here are my specs: I'm on an AMD Radeon RX 6600, Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core, and I have 16GB of RAM. Additionally, my PC has been lagging a lot lately. Switching tabs feels slow and buggy, sometimes part of an old tab stays on the screen before disappearing after a few seconds. I also experience FPS drops in other games even with a good Wi-Fi connection. Is this normal?

Sounds pretty normal! Chrome is known for being a resource-hungry browser, especially with multiple tabs open while gaming. As long as your system isn’t overheating, you should be okay.

Yeah, and the lag might just be from too much running at once. Maybe try closing a few tabs next time you're gaming!

It's definitely on the normal side. Having high usage while running Chrome along with a game isn’t uncommon. One tip is to check if there are any heavy processes running in the background that could be using resources.
