I've noticed that every time I start my computer, it runs pretty slow. Once I'm logged in, I check the Task Manager and see that my HDD disk usage is at 100%, mainly due to a "Service Host" process. It seems like there's a Windows update running most of the time. Is this something that happens to everyone, or is it just me?

It sounds like your Windows is installed on an HDD, which can slow things down since modern Windows isn't optimized for HDDs. If you can, consider getting an SSD. It makes a huge difference in speed. Just moving your OS over to an SSD could really help reduce those high resource usages from processes like "Service Host".
Would I just uninstall from the HDD and then reinstall on the SSD?
