Is Installing a GPU as Difficult as Other Components?

Hey everyone! I started building my PC today and managed to get everything set up except for the graphics card, which hasn't arrived yet. I'm wondering how tough it is to install the GPU since the other components were quite the struggle. For instance, installing the RAM felt like I might break the board, and getting the 24-pin connector in was a real workout! Since the GPU is the most expensive part of the build, I'm really concerned about messing it up and potentially scratching the pins during installation. Any thoughts on how challenging this part will be?

Once you get past the small builds, it's really a breeze! Just slide it into place, lock the PCIe slot, secure it with a screw, plug in the power, and you're set.

Installing a GPU is usually the easiest step! If you're building it on the ground, gravity will do most of the work for you, just a little push is all you need.

Honestly, the GPU is probably one of the easiest parts to install. Just like the RAM, but with less tension. Just remember to check for anti-sag support since some of these cards are heavy. They can come with brackets, or you can easily find a cheap one online. If you have something around the house, that works too!

You definitely can't forget to connect the power cables, though!

Installing GPUs is usually an easy task. Did you run into issues with the RAM because it was the wrong orientation? It should be simple, especially if done before the CPU cooler is installed. Make sure the PCIe latch is open and check if the outputs are sticking out too far.

Installing a GPU is super straightforward! You just pop it in the PCIe slot until you hear a click, then attach the power cables from the PSU. Trust me, you'll spend more time untangling wires than actually putting the GPU in place.
