Is Investing in a 1440P Monitor Worth It for a GTX 1650?

I'm planning to get a 1440p monitor, but I'm wondering if it's a waste of money, considering my current setup. Should I just stick with my 1080p TV? Here's what I have:

- **Build:** Dell Optiplex 7050 MT
- **RAM:** 16 GB
- **Storage:** 230 GB SSD plus an additional 1 TB drive
- **GPU:** NVIDIA GTX 1650 (single-fan)
- **PSU:** 265W
- **Current Monitor:** 1080p TV

The only two heavy games I'm interested in right now are Black Myth Wukong and Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, but I know I'll need a better graphics card for that. If I upgrade, I'd also need to change my PSU and consider GPU size compatibility in my case. Any advice?

It really depends on how you use the monitor. If you're sitting close enough to a 27-inch 1440p display, it can be worthwhile. However, keep in mind that the GTX 1650 might struggle to hit 60 fps on those games at 1440p unless you lower the settings. I recently upgraded my friend's prebuilt with a 3050, which runs 1080p nicely, but going higher might be tough with your current GPU.

I mostly play story-based games and a couple of co-op ones, so refresh rates aren't a huge deal for me. My TV is only 60Hz, so I guess I just want something reliable for what I play!
