Considering the recent surge in memory prices and rumors about Nvidia reducing the production of gaming GPUs, is now the right time to invest in a "future-proof" 4K gaming graphics card that could last us over the next five years? I currently own a used RTX 3070 Ti that I got at a great price, but I'm finding it struggles with 4K gaming, especially with the upcoming Unreal Engine 5 titles that are slated to be a big part of future AAA games. My full system specs are an RTX 3070 Ti, AMD Ryzen 7800X3D, and 32GB of DDR5 6000MHz RAM. Should I make the jump to the 5070 Ti now?

Definitely consider it! If you get lucky with a good chip, you might get very close to the performance of the stock 5080 with a solid overclock. I managed to push my 5070 Ti within about 5-7% of that!
If you're already itching to upgrade for 4K, I doubt you'd hold off until the 60 or 70 series launch, especially with how the market is now. If it's in your budget, I say go for it!
Yeah, I'd say go for the 5070 Ti! It pairs really well with the 7800X3D, and right now it offers the best performance per price ratio. It's definitely worth considering if you're looking to boost your gaming experience. Just keep an eye on the price!
You might also want to check out the 9070 XT from Team Red. It's generally cheaper than the 5070 Ti, yet offers comparable performance. A lot of folks are suggesting it as an alternative.
I grabbed one for 505€ after some cashback; it’s a solid deal. People are predicting prices will rise again by 2026!
It's worth mentioning that Nvidia hasn't officially confirmed any production cuts; that's just some chatter from Chinese forums. Upgrading now might give you about 75% more performance. If you find a model around $750, it could be a sweet deal!
Honestly, it depends on how comfortable you are with your current setup. If you’re already feeling the strain for 4K gaming, I wouldn't wait for the 6000 or 7000 series. If you need an upgrade, then go ahead and make the purchase!

Best performance per price? That's what she said!
