Is It Bad That I’ve Only Solved a Few Leetcode Problems?

I've been in college for three years and have only tackled about ten problems on Leetcode. Instead, I've focused on my own projects and feel like I've gained more practical skills that way. Still, I'm wondering how important Leetcode is for becoming a good developer. Should I stick to building personal projects, or is it worth incorporating some Leetcode practice? Also, what benefits does Leetcode really offer to students beyond just preparing for tech interviews?

Honestly, if you’re not using Leetcode in your daily work, it's not essential. I've been a developer for years and haven't done a single Leetcode problem. Your personal projects are probably going to teach you a lot more practical skills that you'll use in real work situations.

Totally agree! If you've got a solid understanding of programming from your projects, that’s what matters. Leetcode mainly serves as a filter in interviews.
