Is it better to get 32GB or 16GB of DDR5 RAM for my PC build?

I'm planning to build a PC this summer with a budget of just over £1000. Given the current high prices for RAM, I'm wondering if I should invest in 32GB of DDR5 RAM or stick with 16GB. The price difference is about £150, so I'm curious if the upgrade is really worth it in the long run.

If you're set on building this PC, opting for 32GB is totally worth it. It future-proofs your setup and ensures that you won’t hit limits as software demands increase.

I’d recommend the 32GB. Graphical fidelity is at its peak, and having more RAM is always better for performance. Plus, it's cheaper to buy it now than to upgrade later.

For gaming, 2x16GB is usually sufficient, but going up to 32GB can save you from needing to upgrade down the line. It's a good call to invest the extra if you can swing it.

Without a doubt, 32GB is the choice. You'll want enough RAM for future applications and games. Besides, 16GB might be pushing it in a year or two.

Definitely go with 32GB! 16GB is becoming somewhat outdated, and you'll be in a better position for multitasking and gaming.
