Is it better to just use one working RAM stick instead of leaving a broken one in?

I have a situation where one of my RAM sticks is broken while the other one works fine. Should I just keep the broken RAM stick in my system, or should I remove it and run the PC with only the working stick until I can replace both?

Definitely remove the busted RAM stick and just use the working one for now. Keeping a faulty stick can potentially cause more problems with stability and performance. It's better to wait until you can get a replacement for a good pair.
