I'm considering getting a new SSD for my gaming setup and I've been encouraging my brother to help me out with it. We currently have Windows 11 installed on our RAMSTA SSD and a 1TB HDD. My brother is hesitant because he's concerned about the hassle of installing the OS on a new drive. I'm curious if installing a new SSD is really that hard, especially since some games seem to be more optimized for SSDs than HDDs. If installing it really is complicated, I'd like to know so I can just focus on the games I have. Also, my motherboard is a TUF B450M-PLUS GAMING, in case that matters. Thanks for any help!

Honestly, it's super easy! If you can plug something into a wall, you can install an SSD. Just watch a quick YouTube video and you'll get it done in no time!
It's not hard at all! Just plug in the SATA power and data cables if you're going with a SATA SSD. For NVMe, you just pop it into the motherboard—it's practically a breeze! Just keep in mind, after you install it, you might need to format it in Windows to see it in your file explorer.
If you already have your OS on an SSD, then installing a new one is straightforward. For example, if you’re going for an M.2 NVMe SSD, just slot it in and you're almost done. Don't forget to open Windows storage management to allocate the new drive!
Right, and if you're cloning the OS to the new drive, just make sure the new drive has to be the same size or bigger. It’s pretty hassle-free!

Yeah, I agree! I was a bit worried at first, but it really only took me about 5 minutes.
